Volunteering with Health, Education and Food Organisation (HEFO) is an opportunity to serve communities in Nkayi District and be part of restoring dignity through health, education, and food security initiatives. We welcome individuals who are passionate about community development and willing to work alongside local communities.

Who Can Volunteer?

We welcome volunteers who:

  • Are 18 years and above
  • Share a passion for community service and development
  • Are respectful of local cultures and values
  • Are willing to work in rural community settings
  • Can commit time to agreed activities and schedules

    Areas

    Volunteers may support HEFO in the following areas:

    • Community health and hygiene promotion
    • Education support and school activities
    • Food security and climate-smart agriculture projects
    • Youth and community mobilisation
    • Monitoring, documentation, and reporting
    • Administration, communications, and fundraising support

    Volunteer Requirements

    To volunteer with HEFO, applicants should:

    • Complete a Volunteer Application Form
    • Provide a copy of national ID or passport
    • Submit a brief CV (where applicable)
    • Agree to HEFO’s Code of Conduct and Child Protection Policy
    • Be willing to undergo orientation and basic training
